Life "As It Is"

I believe the philosophy reflected here is Love. At one point or another what we seek for in our lives is love. Seeking to find the truth about love and life which one day came to life and one day will die. What Marx said fits in because only when love is found life makes sense just like religion when faith is found everything is complete.

I did not understand much of what the video was trying to say but I agree it definitely has something to do with the finding of something (love maybe) that makes us understand our place in this world and makes us feel complete and at peace with ourselves.

I somewhat agree to the notion of love you guys posted. I believe that the overall message is that can't love, unless you fully love yourself. Were seeking to connect, to feel that bond, to be loved, to be at peace and when we do, we will be able to find ourselves. I think one of the messages they are trying to get across is that we want to be loved, but don't fully love ourselves. Life as we know it is very materialistic and use stimulants to make us feel like we have the love when in reality is just empty love. We need to seek for a higher consciousness a new level of awakening where the seeking can come to an end and feel complete. This is where Marx “religion is the opiate of the masses” comes into play believing in something, but I’m still trying to figure that part out…

SOMETHING TO REFLECT ON CONCERNING THE FILM: I HAD A STUDENT WHO WHEN ASKED WHAT THEY WANT TO BE WHEN THEY GREW UP ANSWERED SIMPLY: "I WANT TO BE HAPPY." AS WELL AS FINDING LOVE IN SOMEONE OR SOMETHING ONE MUST ALSO LOOK FOR THEIR HAPPINESS.

I agree with you the philosophy of love is present. Love is something we search for and in the end it is the love for ones-self that is most important. After all loving life comes with the love of the end to it as well and through liberating ourselves while still alive.
