furlough assignment post 2
im not too sure about what this clip was about, but from what i got, this gentleman is searching for something that is unknown but is supposed to be this great extraordinary thing that will fill in this emptyness he is supposedly experiencing. it seems he wants to escape from reality in search of this thing that will fill the emptyness in him. he doesn't even know what he is looking for!! in the end, he realizes that he had what he was searching for all along and did not know it and couldn't see it. i think he is just searching for the truths in life.

I kinda agree,Im guessing that the message is this...a person can accept to be only a drop in a big ocean(nothing special)but able to relate to all other drops and find peace or think of themselves as more than just a drop...causing confusion and seperation because they think their diffrent from everyone else.. when their actually just a drop in a big ocean...thats all I have to say about that.
I agree with chiazo's point of view that this guy is pursuing something he himself is not sure of. As of now, his world is black and white and does not see that happiness is right in front of him. He is in need of a reality check like the saying goes, "you do not know what you have until it is gone," if his companion who is with him in the video would leave, it will be easier for him to see that he is lucky and what he was pursing was there the whole time.
It was hard to concentrate on what was going on in the video, the music distracted me and for some reason it was very relaxing. i believe the message the guy was trying to get across is that we are like the ocean, each of us our waves in the ocean. We try to separate ourselves from everyone and everything but we all come from the same place. Of course we might all believe in different things but i believe he is trying to say no matter what we all come from the same place.
